Here’s a roundup of live blogging and coverage of the final day of Chicago 2010. If I missed your site’s coverage, please make sure to leave a note in the comments.

Yes, it’s true, your baby is damn ugly (as Tim Ash would point out). It’s tough to come to that realization for many webmasters, but it’s harder for most to accept that despite how broken your website is, there are several Google-owned and operated websites that are probably just as broken.

Not to worry, because Google also does their best to love you and your ugly baby by offering Google Webmaster Tools to you for free (or, at no cost to you).

Give credit where credit is due, Jeffrey Hayzlett rocked the house yet again at Chicago today.

Was it due to his overly energetic delivery, or his curse words, or maybe his cleverly inserted punch lines? Perhaps, but below the surface of all that showmanship was a genuine message that resonated amongst agency and brand marketers alike.

What was that message? Brands are not the sum value of the products or services they sell.

It wasn’t long ago that focusing on product marketing was all major brands did. And that worked well for years, in part because the only “socializing” that occurred was offline as word of mouth.

Chicago is kicking off today. Among the hot topics will be SEO, PPC, real-time search, analytics, social media, link building, reputation management, and much more. Make sure to check out our Tweetwall to follow SES Chicago in real time.

One of the big questions at SES Chicago this year is: what’s the future of search?

To start answering this question, we asked search marketers just that. Social media, user intent, retargeting, Google TV, ad exchanges are just a sampling of what some SEMs believe will shape the future of search. Have a look:

It’s time for SES to return to Chicago for our annual event there. And even before we get to the expert sessions and content you’ve come to know for, the big news is: This year you won’t need your winter thermals!

Yes, after years of collectively freezing our asses off in snowy December, we’ll bask in the somewhat warmer October climate. October 19 – 21 to be precise. And as ever, we have a world class line up of speakers and quite simply kick-ass keynotes.

Now, I’ve known for months that SES Chicago 2010 was being moved from it’s traditional slot in December to October this year, but I was surprised at San Francisco last week to hear an industry veteran blurt out, “ Chicago is being held in October!?!”

Yep, it will be held in the same place — the Hilton Chicago — but in a whole new season: Autumn, also known as fall in American English. That’s right, SES Chicago is being held Oct. 18-22 — before Halloween — instead of in mid-December — after Thanksgiving.

About 2,100 people are attending SES Chicago 2009, up from last year. The top story on Day 2 was the morning keynote by Peter Morville, author of Search Patterns.

Morville is widely recognized as a father of information architecture. He’s authored the best-selling books, Information Architecture for the World Wide Web and Ambient Findability, and has consulted with such organizations as AT&T, Harvard, IBM, Microsoft, the National Cancer Institute, Vodafone, and Yahoo!. He blogs at findability.org.

At SES Chicago 2009 on Wednesday, December 9, at 12:30 p.m., there will be a drawing to give away the “largest marketing library.” Attendees of Search Engine Strategies Chicago can enter their business cards up until just before the drawing.

The drawing will take place in the Exhibition Hall, and the lucky winner must be present to claim the prize. (If you are a twin or triplet, use the canonical tag to show that you are the original winner, not a duplicate.)

Here is a partial list of the titles to be given away:
