Searchmetrics was first to put out its list of winners and losers yesterday after Google’s Panda update arrived in the UK. New early data released today by SISTRIX indicates that article sites, price comparison sites, and business directories have taken the biggest falls in Google’s organic search results….

Many websites in the UK today are feeling the impact of Google’s Panda update, one day after it was officially rolled out to all English-language Google users. Much like the devastation unleashed on unsuspecting sites in the U.S. in February, today price comparison sites and many content sites (e.g., news, reviews, blogs) Google has deemed “shallow” have been hammered in the UK search results, according to preliminary data released today by Searchmetrics….

The Google Panda update set off fireworks on February 24. But an even bigger change to YouTube search results has slipped under the radar despite the fact that YouTube is the second largest search engine….
