Constantin Brancusi 135th Birthday Google Doodle


Constantin Brancusi was a sculptor who worked in bronze, marble, wood and stone. In his 81 years, his works include some 215 sculptures and over 1,000 photographs. Today marks his 135th birthday.


The Doodle includes Brancusi’s most famous works. Representing the famous letters: “Prometheus,” “Newborn,” “Sleeping Muse,” “Mademoiselle Pogany,” “Bird in Space” and “The Kiss.”

The Brancusi Google Doodle appeared on nearly all of Google’s sites world-wide, but not Google India, which sported a Cricket World Cup Doodle.
