Google, Yahoo!, and Bing Launch Free Wifi Campaigns


The big three search engines all announced this week separate efforts to provide free in various locations.

is offering free Wifi in 47 airports. See the list here. The campaign runs through January 15, 2010.

! is offering free Wifi to the 500,000 people who pass through Times Square each day. They’re partnering with the Times Square Alliance in the effort, which will last through 2010.

is offering free Wifi through hotspots in airports and hotels. All you have to do is conduct a search on to get access. The program began in Q3 2009 and has been extended through the end of the year.
